Co-location Hosting – Here, the customer owns the web server that is housed within the secure data center of the web hosting provider. Customer enjoys 24x7, full control and monitoring and maintenance of their web server.

Prices are typically high and can go up to $1000 a month depending on server bandwidth.

There are several server reseller hosting services available. Here, the web server providers give web server storage rights to a third-party or reseller that in turn rents this server storage space to customers. Rates are exceedingly cheap, but not many resellers are authentic or come with good technical support. Besides, with shared hosting available within $20, it is best to avoid resellers.
