Logo is an important graphic element that represents an organization and helps it to acquire immediate client recognition. A logo is basically a communicative tool that is used for conveying a message to the potential customers. So it should be designed with lots of care and delicacy. Some of the common mistakes that needs to be avoided while logo designing are listed below:
- Avoid Using Clipart Logo
We are usually familiar with the software offering widely distributed clip art images and can very easily recognize the borrowed logo. So, if you do not want to loose the credibility of your business corporation, avoid using clip art logo.
- Avoid Using Special Effects Logo
First draft your concept on paper and then decide how you will present it. It is always better to eliminate those effects that are not required in your design.
- Avoid Using the Banner Logo
Always keep this in mind that the logo you have designed is not your web banner advertisement. So, do not give banner shape to your logo.
- Avoid Using the Text-Only Logo
Usually the text-only logo fails to express an organization’s uniqueness. So, it is always better avoiding the usage of text-only logos.
- Avoid Using Monogram
It is quite difficult to use monogram effectively. It usually lacks credibility, which is indeed one of the most important aspects of a well-designed logo. Since, monograms are unable to speak properly about your organization and its products, it is better to avoid using monograms.
- Avoid Using Complex Logo
Usually logos with complex layouts and photos make ineffective logos. So, it is always better to go for simple logo design solutions with minimal lines and solid shades.
